The Beginning of the Japanese "Sengoku" period
When people who are not Japanese are forced think about Japan, there are high possibility that they come up with an image of Katana and Samurai, or maybe Ninja. However, these images are created just because of this age of Sengoku, when Japan was separated by more than 50 country and when each country fought seamlessly with out any logical rules either to protect or to take each other's land property. This page's purpose is to briefly know why and when this "Sengoku" age showed up and lasted for such a long period.
How it Begun
The most crutial event that had let the Sengoku age to begin was the "Mei ho's political coup" this event had happened in 1493 when Shougun, who have been possessing the right to rule the whole land of Japan, was exiled by Hosokawa Masamoto, and Hosokawa made his son take the empty position of Shougun and so did the power of the central power of the central Bakufu(which is like a government now age) was decreased massively and the Daimyo a leader of each state in Japan started to disobey the Shougun and so did those Daimyo started to figh each other. This is how Sengoku era begun.
