📍六本木国立新美術館🎫自撮り禁止なマティス展レポート

久しぶりの投稿です。せっかく沢山おでかけしているので
大切な思い出しっかり残していきたいところ。

・・・先日、六本木の国立新美術館のマティス展を観てきました！
金曜日の夕方、あまり混んで無いのでおすすめです。
(金曜と土曜は２０時まで営業、他は１８時まで。)

去年の上野の東京都美術館はパリのポンピドゥーセンターから、
(去年のカタログはコチラ)
今年の国立新美術館はニース市マティス美術館から協力得て
作品が揃っています。

初期の作品から晩年に至るまで
1890年から1952年にかけて制作された合計161点の作品が展示され、
圧倒的ボリューム。

また、展覧会では作品の背景の自撮りを禁止する旨が明示されていました。作品と向き合う時間が尊重され、静かで落ち着いた鑑賞空間が保たれて、大変良かったです。

展示された作品の中には、マティスが健康に問題があった為
寝転びながら描いたというエピソードを持つものもあり、
このような私生活の一コマを垣間見ることができる写真が展示されていることも印象的でした。
彼の創造性と情熱が、体調や環境に左右されることなく表現され続けたことを示しています。

このマティス展は、芸術家の生涯を通じた色彩と形の探求をたどる旅であり、マティスの内なる世界と創造の源泉に触れる機会となりました。
彼の生き生きとした色彩の使い方や形のシンプルさは、現代においてもなおモダンであり、新鮮な驚きと発見を提供してくれます。

国立新美術館は、東京都港区六本木に位置する日本の国立美術館です。2007年に開館したこの美術館は。設計は有名な建築家、黒川紀章によるもので、波打つようなガラスのファサードが印象的な外観を特徴としています。

📍ニース市マティス美術館について。

ニース市マティス美術館は、南フランスのニースにある、アンリ・マティスに捧げられた美術館です。
マティスが後半生を過ごし、作品を創り上げたこの地域は、ローマ時代の遺跡が残る緑豊かな高台に位置しています。
1963年に開館したこの美術館は、マティス自身や彼の相続人から寄贈された作品を中心に、絵画、素描、版画、切り紙絵、彫刻など約1,500点の作品を所蔵しています。

Hello, everyone! It’s been a while since my last post. Since I’ve been out and about a lot, I thought it’d be great to keep a proper record of these cherished memories.

...So, I recently made a trip to the Matisse exhibition at the National Art Center in Roppongi!
I recommend visiting on Friday evening; it's not very crowded then. (Open until 8 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.On other days, it closes at 6 PM.)

Last year, the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum showcased pieces from the Pompidou Center in Paris(The catalog for that time can be found here.),
and this year, the National Art Center has teamed up with the Matisse Museum in Nice to bring this exhibition to life.

The exhibition displayed a staggering collection of 161 pieces spanning from Matisse’s early works in 1890 to his later years in 1952, presenting an impressive array of his life’s work.

One notable policy at the exhibition was the prohibition of selfies against the backdrop of the artworks. This rule was well-received as it respected the contemplative time with the artworks, ensuring the viewing space remained quiet and serene.

Among the artworks were pieces that highlighted Matisse’s resilience and passion; despite health issues that confined him to bed, he continued to create. It was particularly moving to see photographs that offered a peek into these personal aspects of his life, demonstrating that his creative spirit was unfettered by physical constraints.

This Matisse exhibition was a journey through the artist's exploration of color and form across his lifetime, providing an intimate look into the sources of his creativity. His vibrant use of color and the simplicity of his forms feel as modern and fresh today as they did back then, constantly offering new surprises and discoveries.

📍National Art Center, Tokyo: Located in the heart of Roppongi, Tokyo, the National Art Center is one of Japan's premier national art museums, opening its doors in 2007. The museum, designed by the renowned architect Kisho Kurokawa, is distinguished by its striking glass facade that ripples like waves.

📍 Matisse Museum in Nice: Nestled in the south of France in Nice, the Matisse Museum is dedicated to the life and work of Henri Matisse. Situated on a hilltop surrounded by lush greenery and Roman ruins, the museum opened in 1963 and houses a comprehensive collection of about 1,500 pieces donated by Matisse and his heirs, ranging from paintings and drawings to prints, cut-outs, and sculptures.
