オードリー・ヘプバーンが亡くなる直前、２人の息子、ショーンとルカに読み聞かせたという詩。

原作はアメリカの詩人サム・レヴェンソンが孫娘の誕生に贈った手紙で彼の詩集『時の試練を経た人生の知恵』の中に収められていたものです。

オードリーが大好きだった詩の素晴らしさと、このことを彼女が子どもたちに伝えようとした愛。あまりにも素敵です。
