阪神淡路大震災から30年

あれから30年。
ずいぶん早かったとも思うし、
ずいぶん長かったとも思う。

未曾有の大震災、
公的な救助が
なかなか到着できない中、
地域のみんな、
知恵を出し合って、
自分らの力で助けなあかんと、
無我夢中だった。

あの日見た光景、
混み上がってきた想いは、
これまでもこれからも、
一生忘れることはない。









私たち、
これからも
生きる。

"30 years have passed since then."
Sometimes it feels like it went by so quickly,  
and other times it feels like it has been so long.  

In the face of an unprecedented earthquake,  
as public rescue efforts were slow to arrive,  
the community came together,  
sharing wisdom and determination,  
driven to help each other with our own strength.  

The scenes I witnessed that day,  
the emotions that surged within me,  
I will never forget, now or in the future.
