イグノーベル賞「わさびが警報器になる話」

滋賀大学の医学部が中心となってイグノーベル賞を獲った画期的な発見がある。火事の警報器にわさびの臭いを使ったものだ。耳が不自由な人は音では目覚めない。だが臭いなら目覚める。脳が感知する程度の臭いの調整は難しかったと推測する。
