映画「たまにしか観に行かなかった話」

こどもの頃は映画館に行く習慣がなかった。説得力のある理由はないが、それは周囲のこどもたちと会話をする機会を私から奪った。自分の趣味と彼らの趣味は違った。良くなかった。
When a child, I had no habit to go to the movie without any persuasive reasons, which never failed to deprive me of opportunities to talk with children around me.
What was my favorite was different from what was in their mind, which made negative contributions to me.

高校生の時に友人たちと映画館に行った記憶がある。その当時は一度入館したら夜までいても良かった。つまり同じ映画を何度も観て良かった。だが何度も同じものを観ることはない。
When I was a high school student, I went to the movie.
In those days, once we entered the theater, we were allowed to stay there until night, in short, we could watch the same movie again and again, but we had no habit to do so, which failed to make us awake.

大学を卒業するとビデオレンタルが流行った。初めて借りたのは広島の暴力団の実話に基づくシリーズ映画だった。俳優陣の広島弁が不自然だった。刑務所に入るのも仕事のうちだった。
After graduating from university, the number of video rental shops became larger and larger in our society.
The first video movie I rented at the store was the film about the gangsters’ organization in Hiroshima, which was based on the true stories in 1950’s.
Hiroshima dialects the actors uttered in the movie was unnatural and a little different from what we speak.
Spending several years in the prison was one of their jobs, which was extremely novel to ordinary citizens.

レンタルビデオは隆盛した。新作だと1000円したと記憶している。その点で言えば現代のサブスクはコスパがいい。1000円で見放題だ。ただ自分の趣味に合うものは意外と少ない。
Numerous video rental shops were in our neighborhood.
Watching a movie we rented there became a fad.
And watching a new video movie released in recent days cost us about 1000 yen, in the economical viewpoint, the current subscription service never fail to save us extra money, which we could spend on other amusements or entertainments.
This subscription system allows us to watch numerous movies or dramas to our hearts’ content.
However, what we want to watch from the bottom of our hearts fails to exist all over the globe, we assume.

大学生の終わり頃に観た映画の話。２時間くらいが30分に感じられるものがあった。過去にタイムスリップして若きし頃の父親と仲良くなる映画だ。ヒットしたので続編も出ている。
At the end of my university days, a funny or amusing movie happened to hit on me, which I found the movie composed of 30 minutes’ contents, but it really was composed of 2 hours’ contents, and naturally I was completely absorbed in the extremely entertaining one.
The movie has the story that a main character made friends with what his father used to be in the youthful days when he traveled back into the past, whose sequels were released naturally due to its explosive popularity.

引き込まれて集中すると時間を忘れる。たまにそんな映画に出会う。この歳になると恋愛ものに興味はない。事件には興味がある。特に実話に基づいた社会を震撼させたものは特にだね。
When we are absorbed in something or concentrate on something, we would forget what time it is.
Sometimes we encounter such a movie, but I am not interested in something romantic because my age tends to reject or refuse such a story , but the murder case film or what frightened our society is exception, especially which is based on the real vicious accident.
