日本語「ダサいかもということほどな話」
英語は格好良く聞こえる。これはアメリカ文化に敗北している証左だ。残念ではあるが日本語が話せてコミュニケーションが取れたら充分なのだが今の日本社会はそれを許さないのだ。
Numerous people in Japan could speak English fluently, which sounds cool or sophisticated, we must admit.
But this situation demonstrates that American culture has outweighed Japanese culture, to our regret.
People living in Japan needn’t have a better command of English, in other words, having a superior command of Japanese is everything to us, we must recognize.
However, this way of thinking cannot make a difference in our modern Japanese society, to our regret.
In short, our social trend forces us to study or learn English, which has been compulsory for seven decades.
