海外から交換留学生が日本にやって来ると馴染みのない状況と遭遇する。生徒全員が同じ制服を着ている。そして彼らは日本人のことを異星人と勘違いしてしまう。欧米人は他人と異なることを美徳とする。それでアジア人を劣った民族と思うのだ。
