整形「もともとがいいからなあという話」

Technological developments fight with inheritances.
Our life depends on inheritances, which is true.

たまに同僚の女性スタッフと話をする機会があると、整形がテーマになることがあって、ダウンタイムなので昼から休暇を取りますとかありますね。
Not frequently, there are several opportunities to discuss “plastic surgery” with female staffs, who have been our colleagues with refreshing appearance originally.
One day, one of them left the office early because she would take “such an operation,” which needs “down time,” called “recovery period” in English.
We haven’t heard that a patient feels too painful to do his or her job during the term.

ヒアルロン酸とかボトックスとか男性からすると意味不明な言葉が飛び交うけど、二重にするプチ整形は、中学生でもするらしくて驚きますね。
In their conversations, there are several technical terms like “hyaluronic acid” or “botox.”
Naturally, these words aren’t familiar to ordinary male citizens, and I am a stranger there, but to our surprise, even a junior high school student sometimes takes a minor cosmetic surgery about her eyelids.

ちょっと前にテレビでの露出があったモデルさんで、配信で稼いだお金で整形手術をした人がいたんだけど、そんなに変わってるかな？という感想が多いんですよね。

We could recognize a little change easily in the second picture, but she originally looks cute and has worked as a fashion model, so Minami Fukuoka needn’t have taken such surgeries several times, we assume.

ルッキズムってそういうのを否定する運動なんだと思うけど、遺伝は人生を左右する。自分も親が体格のいい人だったら今とは違う人生があったんだろうなあ。
The concept “lookism” seems to be a movement where “plastic surgery” is something negative, at the same time, an inheritance could make positive or negative contributions to our lifetime.
Perhaps my life would be different from what I am if my father were a tough guy with many muscles.

We should consent to what we are with a big smile.
This would enable us to entertain people around us.
