サムライジーンズは、江戸時代後期に日本中から消えてしまった【和綿】を復活させ、和綿無農薬で栽培しています。

Samurai jeans are cultivated without the use of pesticides in Japanese cotton, which has been revived from Japanese cotton that has disappeared from all over Japan in the late Edo period.

私たちはこの和綿栽培を通して、地球環境を視野にとらえたモノづくりの大切さを学び、同時に【和綿】の品質の素晴らしさや日本の農業の在りようについてたくさん知りました。

Through this Japanese cotton cultivation, we learned the importance of manufacturing with a view to the global environment, and at the same time, we learned a lot about the wonderful quality of Japanese cotton and the current state of Japanese agriculture.

【和綿】の温かみでつくられた衣料の素晴らしさを後世に伝えていく使命があると感じています。
