甲冑説明９ 兜 Helmet
正面画像。62間小星兜前立て付き、如何にも兜らしい前立（鍬形）が付く。Front image. 62-room small star helmet with placket. A stag beetle with a placket that looks like a helmet.
正面画像。前立を外した状態。帽子のつばに当たる所が眉庇（まびさし）と言う。前頭部の防御と日除け。Front image. with the placket removed. The place that hits the brim of the hat is called the eaves. Frontal defense and sun protection.
正面画像。鉄片を鋲で留めてある。鋲は小尖星（ことがりぼし）と言い一行に25~30点位ある。総数約1500以上あり手間がかかる。Front image. The iron piece is studded. The studs are called small-pointed stars,and there are about 25to30 points in a line. There are more than 1500 in total and it takes time.
上部画像。上部に金物（八幡座）がある。古く八幡座は上部穴の補強が始まり。江戸時代には神が宿る神聖な場所になった。Top image. Upper hardware is Hachimanza. In the old days,the upper was first strengthened. It became a sacred place where gods dwell in the Edo period.

上部画像。装飾は5重。Top image. The decoration is 5 layers.
前面下画像。眉庇の隣に有る板の折り返しが吹返（ふきかえし）。下がり藤に三両の家紋が見られる。平安時代は弓矢の防御から大きかったが、戦い方の変化により、小さくなっていった。Bottom front image. Next to the eaves is a breeze. The family crest of my house is attached. It became smaller due to changes in the battle.
後画像。しろこ（革＋毎）は近世最も流行した日根野しろこです。切付小札4段。白檀塗。Rear image. Shiroko is the most popular Hineno Siroko in the early modern period. Sandalwood coating with 4 steps of cut bills.
裏画像。しろこの一番外側が全体にうねる様な曲線を描いており、日根野しろこの特徴。オレンジの布が浮張で鉢裏との間に空間を作っている。Back image. You can see the characteristics of Hineno Shiroko because the outside of Shiroko has a undulating curve. The orange cloth creates a space with floating.
