うぅぅ、見えない…
最近、私はある不安を抱えているのです。
その不安とはいったい…
視力の低下、です🥺。
最近、とみに文字が見えづらくなって来ています。
老眼鏡をかけないと小さな文字は読みづらい。
さて、本日は、半年に一度の健康診断の日。
「視力下がってたらどうしよう…」
私は朝から緊張していました。
「西園寺さんですね！裸眼でよろしいですか？」
「は、はい！」
緊張しているため、返事も大きめになってしまいました😅。
「はい、では行きますよ…」
始まってしまいました😨。
いきなり、大きなC マークがはっきりとは見えません！😱
「えっと…ひ、左？」
不安なのでちょっと語尾が上がってしまいました😅。
「あれ？見えませんか？」
お姉さんが優しく聞いてくれます。
「瞬きをしてみてください」
こんなやり取りを3度ほども繰り返しました。(こんなに時間をかけてくれるもの、空いていたからこそ😁)
さてその気になる視力結果は…
「何とか、両眼1.2ですね😁」🎉🎉🎉
やりました！1.2をキープできました！
今晩は酒盛りっすね！🤩🤩🤩

I've been having some anxiety lately.
What is that anxiety?
It's the decline of eyesight 🥺.
Recently, it's getting harder and harder to see the characters.
Small print is difficult to read without reading glasses.
Well, today is the day of the health checkup once in half a year.
"What should I do if my eyesight is deteriorating?"
I have been nervous since this morning.
"You're Mr. Saionji! Is it okay to do the test with the naked eye?"
"Yes!"
I was nervous, so my reply was too big😅.
"Yes, let's get started..."
All of a sudden I couldn't see the big C clearly!
"Um, is that mark on the left?"
I'm worried, so I ended up a little bit 😅.
"Huh? Can't you see this mark?"
A female inspector kindly listened to me.
"Try blinking your eyes"
I repeated this exchange about three times. (Because there weren't many other people who took so much time😁)
Well, the visual acuity result that you care about is...
"Both eyes are 1.2 😁" 🎉🎉🎉
I did! I was able to keep my eyesight at 1.2!
I'm going to have a drinking party tonight! 🤩🤩🤩
