【解説】
今回は「ああ、何とか、生きているうちに誰もが信心獲得してほしいと、いつも思っている」という内容です。
この前には
「金剛堅固の信心を決定せしめんこと、まことに弥陀如来の本願にあひかなひ、別しては聖人（親鸞）の御本意にたりぬべきものか」
（信心獲得することこそが、阿弥陀仏の本願にかなうことであり、親鸞聖人のご本意に添うことである）
という文があります。
つまり蓮如上人がおすすめされたのは「信心獲得すること」なのです。
これはなぜかというと、私たちのような出家修行をしていない凡夫が六道輪廻（苦界）から救われるには、阿弥陀仏の本願に対する疑いを除かれること（信心獲得）が必要だからです。
それによって、まったく苦の無い極楽浄土に往生させていただけます。
浄土真宗の教えというのは、もしかしたら複雑に見えるかもしれません。
ですがその本質というのは、一度つかんでしまえば、シンプルなものです。
他力信心の定義とは「仏願の生起本末を聞きて疑心あることなし」というもの。
