音楽の時間
自分の音楽を皆さんに届けられる機会は、実はそう多くありません。
年に数回のコンサートでは、自分の作った曲のすべてを演奏することはできず、もどかしさを感じています。
せっかく作曲したのに、一度もコンサートで披露できていない曲もたくさんありますし、日々取り組んでいる実験的な音楽を発表する場も限られています。
Jazzのこと、シンセのこと、現代音楽のこと、サントラのこと…。
皆さんと共有したい音楽が、まだまだたくさんあります。
そこで、新しいイベントを始めることにしました。
イベントタイトルは 『音楽の時間』。
記念すべき第1回は、もう20年近く共演を続けているチェリスト・古川淑恵さんとお届けします。
今回は、これまで手がけてきたドラマや映画のサウンドトラックを、ピアノとチェロで演奏します。
学生時代の作品から、最新作『わたしにふさわしいホテル』まで、幅広いラインナップを用意しました。
３月３０日に尾山台のum(ウム)というお店で開催します。
尾山台良い所ですよ。

Opportunities to share my music with you all aren’t as frequent as I’d like. With just a handful of concerts each year, there’s always a sense of frustration—I can’t perform everything I’ve created. There are many pieces I’ve composed that have never even made it to the stage, and the space to present my more experimental work is quite limited.
Jazz, synths, contemporary music, soundtracks… There’s still so much I want to share with you. That’s why I’ve decided to start a new event.
The event is called “Ongaku no Jikan” (Music Time).
For the very first edition, I’ll be performing with cellist Yoshie Furukawa, who I’ve been collaborating with for nearly 20 years.
This time, we’ll be playing soundtracks I’ve worked on for dramas and films, arranged for piano and cello. The setlist spans from my student days to my latest work, A Hotel Fit for Me, offering a wide selection of music.
