Created by designer and author Kohei Yamashita.
The logo mark is used as the character as it is. Osaka is called the "City of Water," and that was the concept behind the character, which can "change its shape.
The character's changeable appearance also reflects an awareness of the "diversity" of the characters, each of whom has its own unique personality.
The relevance of the logo mark is that the wish to "change" and the clear water meet to change the appearance of the character. The logo inherits the desire to "become the person you want to be.

When I first saw the character, red and blue reminded me of arteries and veins.

Looking at their explanations, I think that the "pulse" is naturally related to life, but it also well represents history, culture, technology, and the connections between people.
I think it is a wonderful name that fits the theme of the Expo, "Designing a Future Society where Life Shines Brightly.
