マンダラ：A face of God？！

マンダラは、自然界に無数に存在します。

例えば、果物を水平に切った断面もマンダラです。

友達の家の庭で、もぎたてのオレンジをご馳走になっていた時のことでした。

オレンジをスライスしながら、チョット大袈裟な仕草で・・・

「これ、神様の顔ヨ！」「私の亡くなったお父さんがオレンジをスライスしながら、いつもそう言ってた。」

と言いながら、私にスライスしたオレンジを勧めてくれました。

自然の姿には、どんな綺麗に描いた絵もかなかないことを承知の上で、

その時の感動を受け取って描いたマンダラです。

A face of God!
A friend of mine shouted,”Wow! This is like a face of God!” while slicing an orange she just picked from her garden. She then continued, “My dad used to tell me that when he sliced oranges for me.” Though I knew that the nature always have the upper-hand on presenting beauty and perfection, I created this mandala with the appreciation for her sharing her father’s wisdom and the memory. Life is precious.
