ポケモンSVで英語を勉強してみる②

はじめに

前回に続き、英語ポケモン with バウッツェル一人旅の進捗をまとめていきますよ。

ゲーム

Treasure Hunt（宝探し）開始まで進めました！

Penny（ボタン）とTeam Star（スター団）とのひと悶着に始まり、Nemonaのプチ学校案内、新しいクラスで新入生紹介、Arvenからthe Herba Mystica（秘伝スパイス）探しの依頼、Cassieopeia（カシオペア）からの初コンタクト、Professor Sada（オーリム博士）と初めましてからのKoraidon（コライドン）を預けられ……といった具合でめちゃくちゃストーリーを読みました。
だいぶ時間かかったし、超しんどかった！

エリア的には大体この辺りを探索中です。

この辺りをうろうろしながらトレーナーを狩りまくって、Fidoughのレベリングをやっています。
今回は縛りがあって基本的にはポケモントレーナーからしか経験値が得られないので、できるだけ余さずしっかり狩っていきたいですね。

そんなこんなで成長したFidoughの姿がこちら。

実は道中でAdamant Mint（いじっぱりミント）を拾うことができまして、ラッキー！と思ってその場ですぐ使っちゃいました。

レベルアップや技マシンの使用で、新しい技も覚えてます。

メインウェポンはPlay Roughです。１人旅だとPPが全然足りないので、早いですが薬で増やしました。
ただ、Play Rough連打で勝てるほど甘くはないため、実のところ使用頻度はそこまで高くないです。

この子の基本戦術は、まずBaby-Doll Eyesを使って先制で攻撃を下げ、その後はMud-Slapしまくり命中を下げ、下げきったらBiteでひたすら怯みを狙います。
持ち物はShell Bell（貝殻の鈴）で、相手が攻撃を外している間にじわじわ回復していきます。
特にレベルが同じくらいの敵だとこれが一番安定して勝てるし、Potion（きずぐすり）の節約もできる。
Fidough、とっても有能ちゃんです。

ちなみに、Play RoughとBaby-Doll EyesとBiteは自力で覚えます。
Mud-Slapだけ技マシンです。

今回はノート５ページ分を表にしました。
めっちゃ調べた～

改めて単語を見返してると、これはストーリーのこの辺りの会話で出てきたやつだなというのが意外と思い出せて楽しいですね。

最後に

前回の記事で、デカいパピモッチを相棒に選んだという話をしたんですが、本当に大きいのかどうか気になったのでMesagozaにいるお姉さんに聞いてみました。

"This is a serious big'un!（これは大物だね！）"と言っているので、やはり結構大き目だったようです。

このセリフをもとに、英語の公式サイトでも調べてみました。

何と、XXLサイズでした！上から２番目だ！

ということで、相棒は本当にデカい子でした。
バウッツェルになったときにどれくらいのサイズ感になるのか、今から楽しみです。
