導入の趣旨：
⚪13歳から19歳を自動的に保護し
⚪親に安心感を与える
ように設計されています。
親御さんとはいつも、子供さんのオンライン利用に対する懸念が話題になりますが、
懸念３つ↓はいつも聞くトピックです：
1. どんな人が子どもと接触する可能性があるのか？
2. どんなコンテンツを見ているのか？
3. どのくらいの時間オンラインに費やしているのか？
Teen Accounts は、こうした親御さん向けで、特に何もしなくとも、上記懸念に対処可能なように設計されています。
即日体験可能で、子どもさんを、制限され保護された設定をもつ Teen Accounts に自動的に移行可能です。
16歳未満の子どもがもっと制限の緩い設定にするには親の許可が必要となります。
設定項目はたくさんありますが、最重要なのは：
⚪アカウントが非公開である点
⚪誰が子供にメッセージを送信できるかには制限が課せられる点
＝ Teen Accounts 参加者のみ
⚪良識ある制限を設け、不適切なコンテンツに触れないようしている点
⚪１日６０分しかアクセスできないようにしている点
これに加えて、自己を表現するのに使えるトピックもご提供している点。これは親御さんも閲覧可能です。
さらに、もっと関心をお持ちの親御さんには、親が設定する堅牢な設定項目もご用意致しております。
また、年齢を偽る子どもに対する対策ーー年齢詐称を防ぐ設定ーーも検討中です。
僕自身父親なので、これはインスタに対する革新的な変化だと思うし、誇りに思っております。

Today we’re introducing a significant new experience on Instagram called Teen Accounts.
Teen Accounts are designed to provide automatic protections for teens and to give parents some peace of mind.
I talk to parents all the time about their concerns about teens being online, and I consistently hear three things:
one, concerns about who can contact them,
two, what content they see
and three, how much time [that] they spend online.
And Teen Accounts are designed to hopefully address all three of those concerns without requiring anything from a parent.
Now, the way it works is starting today; we’re going to move teens automatically into Teen Accounts, which are going to have a set of more restrictive and protected settings.
And those under 16 are going to require their parents’ permission to move to any less restrictive settings.
Now, there are a lot of settings, but the most important are
accounts are private,
there are message restrictions about who can message them—only people they are connected to—
there are sensitive content restrictions so that they see less inappropriate content
and we will remind them to leave Instagram once they hit 60 minutes for the day.
And on top of that, there’s a “new topics” that they can use to express themselves on Instagram and their parents can see those topics.
And for those parents who want to be more involved, there are more robust parental controls.
Now, if you are asking, what about teens who lie about their age?, we’ve thought of that, and we’re actively working on ways to give those who lie about their age-protected settings as well.
