ISRRT2021開催概要が判明

やっとISRRTから演者あてに連絡（メール）が来ました。
以下にメールを一部抜粋、載せます。

Dear Authors,
firstly we trust you are keeping safe and well in these uncertain times and apologies for the time since our last communication, but it's been an eventful year!. We are delighted to confirm that the postponed ISRRT World Congress to which your scientific abstract was previously accepted will now proceed as a hybrid event scheduled for August 20-22nd 2021, in Dublin.
The hybrid format will facilitate physical attendance for those delegates who are able to travel (restrictions permitting) as well as offering a virtual alternative for those who cannot, with a combination of live and recorded components. All presentations (max 7 minutes duration) will be pre-recorded (using free Zoom software as per the attached guidelines). Therefore we are now asking all accepted authors to confirm by updating your RSVP (deadline May 15th 2021) if they will submit their finished pre-recorded presentation following the attached guidelines by our July 15th deadline. It is crucial that you provide your recorded presentation by the due date to ensure there is sufficient time to complete the necessary pre-production requirements.
In addition to your presentation, the sessions will end with a Live Q&A of 10 min where presenters from each session will be invited to answer questions raised by the audience throughout the session. A moderator will open the session and briefly explain how the session will run, introduce each presentation, and lead the live Q&A at the end of the session. We understand that due to time zone differences this may not be possible for all presenters but is an important addition where feasible. All participants will be asked to be online 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the relevant session to complete a quick rehearsal and test the audio and video quality. As such, for those who are available you will need to dedicate a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes for the entire session. The links, guidelines, and instructions for the session will be sent to you the week before ISRRT 2021.

（各セッションのモデレータがセッションを開き、セッションの実行方法を簡単に説明、各プレゼンテーションを紹介、最後にライブQ＆A）
時差があるが参加者は可能な限りセッションに参加する
（セッション開始15分前にオンラインにて、簡単なリハーサル、オーディオとビデオの品質をテストする）
ということ。

現実問題として現地参加はこの状況ではOKが出ない施設がほとんどでしょうから、大体の日本からの参加者はwebでの参加することになるのではないでしょうか。
しかしRSVPを5/15までに更新したり、添付されたマニュアルに沿って、プレゼンを7/15までにzoomで録画してupする必要があるため、あまり時間的な余裕はなさそう、かつ少し面倒ですね。
参加も時差が8時間ほどあることを考えると、現地時間で午前中のセッションになると夜中～朝方に、現地時間の午後では朝方～正午前になるので、仕事も休みを取らないと厳しそうです。
そのあたりの理解が得られるかも、個々の施設によってまちまちかなと。

私個人としましては、このような世界情勢ですが、モチベーションを保つためにも、休み明けに職場に相談してOKならせっかくなので参加しようと思います。
