極寒と闘う
先日pomodorosa氏のもとに新しいアウターが届いた。THE NORTH FACEの極地仕様ダウンジャケット「アンタークティカ・パーカ」だ。
色はサミットゴールドでサイズはXL。ロービジな冬の街でも雪深い山林でも、この色ならどこにいても氏の発見は容易だろう。
氏が試着したところ「羽毛布団を着て出かけるより暖かい、いや暑い」とのこと。
巷の評判通り、都心で着用するにはあまりにもオーバースペックだそうだが「オーバースペックは男子のロマン」ということであまり気には留めていないようだ。
体温と共に氏の懐具合も温まることを願う。
Fight the extreme cold
Mr. pomodorosa received a new outerwear the other day. It's THE NORTH FACE's Antarctica Parka, a down jacket designed for polar regions. This color is Summit Gold and the size is XL. Whether in a low-saturation winter city or a snowy mountain forest, this color will make it easy to spot him wherever he goes.
When he tried it on, he said, "It's warmer than going out with a down comforter on, no, it's hot." As the word on the street goes, it's too over-specced to wear in the city, but he doesn't seem to mind, saying, "Over-specced is a guy's dream."
I hope his wallet will warm up as well as his body temperature.
