It talks about Japan as seen by a Nikkei Brazilian living in the complex. Friction, conflict, and racism that arise from cultural differences. There is laughter and tears.

From our point of view, it is a "symbol of discrimination against foreigners by Japanese people, a discriminatory term". To begin with, they are not seen as human beings. They are only seen as something mysterious that resembles a human.
Whether you acknowledge it or not, this reality will not change. Whether you accept it or not makes no difference.
