The highlighted portion of our theme scripture tells us that when (at the time) you walk through the fire, you shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon you. Halleluyah! The fire in this scripture can represent challenges that we may face as Christians especially when we decide not to heed to local, regional, national, and or global laws and norms which are inconsistent with the WORD OF GOD. The beautiful thing is these fires do not have enough power to burn us. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into the fiery furnace just because they refused to bow to Nebuchadnezzar. In the end, they did not get burned by the fire because the Holy Spirit, who brings to us God’s presence joined them in the fire (Daniel 3:26). Both the fire and flame could not overpower them. In the days of Paul, a venomous serpent appeared from some sticks he had set on fire. The venomous snake bit him and introduced poison into him via its fangs, yet Paul did not die (Acts 28:3). Praise God! The God of Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and Apostle Paul is in you and with you and is ready to do for you what He did for them. Quench every fire or issue that poses as fire in your life today as you stay in prayer. Halleluyah!

Confession: No fire can burn me or harm me. The flames cannot hurt me. His presence shields me from the effects of the fires and flames. Praise God!
