(Hebrews 11:28) Through faith he kept the Passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. 
(ヘブル11:28）彼は信仰によって過越の祭りを守り、初子を滅ぼす者が彼らに触れないように、血を振りかけた。

God has a special interest in firstborns. At the same time, the devil is also interested in them. The firstborn is a type of leader so when we talk of firstborns we are also talking about leaders. In Christ, we all belong to the Church of the firstborn hence we are all firstborns (Hebrews 12:23). From the physical standpoint, you will notice many firstborns go wayward in many families. At times, you may see peculiar difficulties in the lives of firstborns. Due to this, a lot of people have sought protection from other deities for such children. This is not the best for there is better protection for them through the saving voice in the blood of Jesus (Hebrews 12:24). The blood of Jesus Christ is God’s own blood. This blood speaks excellent things of which protection is one of them. 
神は初子に特別な関心を持っておられる。同時に、悪魔も長子に関心を持っている。長子は指導者の一種であり、長子について語るとき、それは指導者について語ることでもある。キリストにおいて、私たちは皆、長子の教会に属しており、したがって私たちは皆、長子なのである（ヘブル12:23）。物理的な観点から見ると、多くの家庭で長子の多くが道を踏み外すことに気づくだろう。時には、長子の人生に独特の困難が見られるかもしれない。そのため、多くの人々がそのような子供たちのために他の神々に守護を求めている。なぜなら、イエスの血潮にある救いの御声によって、より良い保護があるからである（ヘブル12:24）。イエス・キリストの血は神ご自身の血である。

In the Old Testament, the Israelites used the blood of lambs which was a representation of the blood of Jesus as a sign on their doorpost. Once they did that they avoided the visitation of the angel of death (Exodus 14:12-14 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it ‘For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord. Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. ‘So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance). Spend time today and pray for firstborns and by extension leaders. Halleluyah! 
旧約聖書では、イスラエル人はイエスの血の象徴である子羊の血を門柱のしるしとして用いた。出エジプト記14:12-14 彼らはその血を取り、家の両側の柱と上部の戸柱に打ちつけ、そこで食べなければならない： わたしは主である。わたしは主である。今、その血はあなたがたのために、あなたがたのいる家々のしるしとなる。わたしがその血を見て、あなたがたの上を通り過ぎる。わたしがエジプトの地を打つとき、あなたがたを滅ぼすような災いは、あなたがたの上にはない。だから、この日はあなたがたの記念となり、あなたがたは代々、これを主の祭りとして守らなければならない。あなたがたは、永遠の定めによって、これを祭りとして守らなければならない）。今日、初子のために、ひいては指導者のために祈りましょう。ハレルヤ！

Confession: By the blood of Jesus, the destroyer of firstborns cannot touch my firstborn and by extension all who are under my care. Since I belong to the Church of the Firstborn, I have also received protection from the saving voice in the blood of Jesus. We are moving forward by the power of the Holy Ghost. Halleluyah.
