GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL Day124 LEARN TO ENDURE HARDSHIP 苦難に耐えることを学ぶ

(2 Timothy 2:3-5) You therefore must endure[a] hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 3 キリスト・イエスの良い兵卒として、わたしと苦しみを共にしてほしい。No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. 4 兵役に服している者は、日常生活の事に煩わされてはいない。ただ、兵を募った司令官を喜ばせようと努める。5 また、競技をするにしても、And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.規定に従って競技をしなければ、栄冠は得られない。

Christianity can be likened to military work at times.

キリスト教は、時に軍隊に例えられることがあります。

 Sometimes, you meet certain hardships because you are different from the rest.

自分が他の人と違うからこそ、ある種の苦難に遭遇することもあります。

 In such an instance, do not bow to the pressures. 

そんな時は、圧力に屈してはいけません。 

Rather keep praying, be determined, and move with the power of the Holy Ghost.

むしろ、祈り続け、決意を固め、聖霊の力で動くことが大切です。

 Be mentally tough. That way, you will grow past the hardship. 

 精神的にタフであること。そうすれば、苦難を乗り越えて成長することができます。 

Start thinking like a military person and let your spirit be wild. 

軍人のような考え方をして、自分の精神をワイルドにしましょう。

Indeed hard times are not meant to be with you forever. 

確かに辛い時期は永遠に続くものではありません。 

In the end, it will become history. 

最後には、それが歴史になる。 

Then you will sit and laugh at the afflictions that came. 

そうすれば、あなたは座って、やってきた苦難を笑うでしょう。 

Every hardship is meant to promote you, so learn to endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. Halleluyah!

Activity: Spend time in prayer today. Ask the Holy Spirit to toughen your spiritual muscles to make you too strong for hardship.
Confession: My spiritual muscles are made tough by the Holy Ghost. No hardship is meant to bring me down. I always go up no matter the afflictions. I am blessed. Halleluyah!
