ペンの持ち方 | How to hold a pen

僕はペンを持つ時、親指を中に入れます。
これは何度も直そうと思ったんですが、どうしても戻ってしまいます。

そこで絵を書きながらなぜこの持ち方が、僕は描きやすいのか分析してみました。

まず、前提として僕は手が大きく筆圧が強めです。
集中すると特に手に力が入ってしまいます。
筆や鉛筆での作業は思ったよりデリケートで、力を抜く方がスムーズに描けます。

僕の持ち方は指先と親指の付け根の2点で力をコントロールしているように思います。
しっかりペンや筆をホールドしつつ、この2点で掛かる力を分散したり調整したりしています。
特に親指の付け根部分の調整が柔らかなラインを描く際には効いているように感じます。

より良い方法もあるかもしれませんが、僕はこの持ち方で作業の精度を高める方向です。
そんな事を改めて思った良い一日でした。

When I hold a pen, I cover my thumb at palm.
I've tried to fix this many times, but it just keeps coming back.

So, while drawing, I tried to analyze why this way of holding a pen is easier for me to draw.

First of all, I have a large hand with strong pressure.
When I concentrate, I tend to put a lot of pressure on my hands.
Working with brushes and pencils is more delicate than I thought, and I find it easier to draw smoothly when I relax.

The way I hold a pen, I seem to control the force at two points: the tip of my finger and the base of my thumb.
While holding the pen and brush firmly, I use these two points to distribute and adjust the force applied.
In particular, I find that adjusting the base of the thumb is works well for drawing soft lines.

There may be better ways to do this, I'm thinking of continuing to hold it this way to increase the accuracy of my work.
It was a good day for me to think about such things again.
