OHAO PROJECT学びのフェア＆インド共和国 活動報告

本日は、OHAOプロジェクト史上初の悪天候と、開催までわずか1週間を切ってからの募集開始、そして参加費無料という初の試み、朝からトラブルがあり、準備に朝まで追われました。さすがに神様、初めて明治時代に日本国のために海外で奔走した祖父に力を貸してくださいと祈る朝でしたが、この日を成功させるために、多くの協力者や関係者の皆様のお陰で奇跡が起きたことに心から感謝いたします。

本日、私たちはインドの神聖な断食期間において、家庭でも作れるチャンナ・マサラ（ひよこ豆のカレー）とココナッツ・ラドゥを子どもたちと一緒に作りました。多くの方々が何度もおかわりをされ、子どもたちが玉ねぎのみじん切りやココナッツ・ラドゥを手伝ってくれたおかげで、美味しいインド料理を楽しむことができました。この場を提供してくれたRuchika Gupta先生、通訳を担当してくれたBrijesh Varshney様、通訳ボランティアの杉山慶子様に心から感謝申し上げます。

また、チャンナ・マサラのお野菜は明治安田生命健康保険組合様とデザートやインドのレアな食材はRuchika様からご提供いただきました。このご支援にも心から感謝申し上げます。

インドの学びについては、Indobox株式会社の丹治大佑様が詳しくお話ししてくださいました。昨日は昨日は愛知県での別のインド文化イベントの運営も行っていた中、かなりお疲れの中、子どもたちにも分かりやすく説明してくださいました。インド人の考え方や、一つの国に22か国語があることなど、多くの新たな知識を得ることができました。インドという国を理解するにはまだまだ学びが必要ですが、これからも学び続ける意欲が湧きました。丹治様、本当にありがとうございました。

また、インドの学校支援活動についての報告や、Ryu Julius様の講演は、脳神経学と心理学の専門家であるJulius様ならではの深い学びでした。特に、「Why（なぜ）」という言葉が心に響きました。Julius先生は16年以上の国際教育コンサルタントとしての経験を活かし、素晴らしい言葉を分かち合ってくださいました。

インドといえば、ヨガ。Natsuki先生とChinatsu先生が親子でヨガと瞑想の体験を提供してくれ、呼吸法やポジショニングを教えてくれました。参加者は心も体も温まり、充実感を感じました。

また、今回はOHAOプロジェクトが一般社団法人OHAOの設立を発表しました。Ryu Julius（岩野 竜様）が理事に就任していただきました。Juliusさんのご家族のお話しの中で、「Juliusが生まれたということはJuliusはいつかは死ぬ」という言葉が印象的で、次の世代にバトンを渡す大切さを語っていただきました。Juliusさんの問いかけに、小さな子どもたちも応えていました。私たちの気持ちが一つになれば、より良い地球を築くことができると信じています。Our Hearts are One（私たちの心は一つ）を掲げ、活動を継続していきます。

OHAO PROJECT Learning Fair & India Republic Activity Report

Today, we faced unprecedented bad weather, a last-minute start of registration just one week before the event, and the first-ever attempt at a free participation fee. We encountered challenges from the early morning, and it was a morning where we prayed for help from the heavens, especially from my grandfather who had worked overseas for the benefit of Japan during the Meiji era. However, thanks to the support of many collaborators and stakeholders, a miracle happened, and I am deeply grateful for it.

Today, we gathered to prepare Channa Masala (chickpea curry) and Coconut Laddu (a sweet treat) that can be made at home, during India's sacred fasting period. Thanks to the participation of many people who enjoyed seconds, and the help of children in dicing onions and making Coconut Laddu, we were able to savor delicious Indian cuisine. I extend my heartfelt thanks to Ruchika Gupta, who provided us with this opportunity, Brijesh Varshney for his interpretation, and Keiko Sugiyama for volunteering as an interpreter.

The vegetables for Channa Masala were generously provided by Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Health Association, and the desserts and rare Indian ingredients were supplied by Ruchika Gupta. I am truly grateful for this support.

Regarding learning about India, Mr. Daisuke Tanji from Indobox Co., Ltd. gave a detailed presentation. Yesterday, despite being quite tired due to another Indian cultural event we were organizing in Aichi Prefecture, he explained things to the children in a way that they could easily understand.We learned a lot about Indian thinking and the fact that India has 22 official languages. While there is still much to learn to understand the country of India, I have been motivated to continue learning. Mr. Tanji, thank you very much.

Furthermore, the presentation on supporting schools in India and Mr. Ryu Julius's lecture on neuroscience and psychology were deeply informative. In particular, the word "Why" resonated with me. Mr. Julius, with over 16 years of experience as an international education consultant, shared wonderful words with us.

When we think of India, we think of yoga. Natsuki and Chinatsu offered a parent-child yoga and meditation experience, teaching breathing techniques and poses. Participants felt warm in both body and heart, experiencing a sense of fulfillment.

Additionally, during this event, OHAO Project announced the establishment of the OHAO General Incorporated Association, with Mr. Ryu Julius as a board member. In his family's stories, the phrase "Julius was born, which means Julius will eventually die" left an impression on me, emphasizing the importance of passing the baton to the next generation. Even the small children responded to Mr. Julius's questions. I believe that if our hearts come together, we can build a better world. We will continue our activities under the motto "Our Hearts are One."
