Biden should have identified America first rather than talked about excuses
What is America?
First of all, I would like to express my deepest sorrow for the thirteen troops who died in the terrorist attack.
Today I’d like to talk about the leadership of the president Biden at the time of a crisis.
Leadership is to identify who we are, that’s what “Real leaders don’t do PowerPoint” tells us.
Mr. Biden should have started with who American troops are in the first place rather than the reasons why he decided to withdraw troops when various uncertainties and physical dangers were still obvious.
Even before that, he should have clarify what Americans are.
So, he should have done the beginning part of speech this way.
what he should have done
America don’t leave any people in trouble behind.
We rescue them first then the fellow Americans.
Dear afghan friends, you all will be safe and sound.
Our troops put your lives before them.
From the standpoint of a Japanese, I agree that the withdrawal not preparing for rescuing all those who helped America out is unamerican in that this is against the inherent beauty of the people to put others first.
Japan is to blame, too.
It's a shame that Japanese Afghanistan embassy put the first rescue priority
to Japanese not Afghanistan staffs.
I know the reality but・・
I know America no longer can’t afford to help those who aren’t willing to fight for their mother land.
And I also know that Mr. Biden had no way but to accept withdrawal because Trump and the Taliban already reached the agreement to withdraw before him.
Still, it looks awkward for the president not to overturn the agreement while the leader totally overlooked what Trump did for the other matters.
Anyway, it’s a pity if the withdrawal means the end of American policeman ship over injustice of the world.
