The film nominations for the 81st Golden Globe Awards were announced on the 11th, with Hayao Miyazaki's ``kimitachima dō ikirukaHow Are You Living?'' and Makoto Shinkai's ``Suzume no tojimari'' nominated for Best Animated Picture. This is the third time a Japanese film has been nominated in this category, following Mamoru Hosoda's ``Mirai no Mirai'' (2018) and Masaaki Yuasa's ``Inuou'' (2022). This is the first time in history that two films have been nominated at the same time.

第81回ゴールデン・グローブ賞の映画賞ノミネートが11日に発表され、アニメーション作品賞に宮崎駿監督の「君たちはどう生きるか」と新海誠監督の「雀の扉は閉ざされた」がノミネートされた。同部門に日本映画がノミネートされるのは、細田守監督の『未来のミライ』（2018年）、湯浅政明監督の『犬王』（2022年）に続き3度目となる。 2つの映画が同時にノミネートされるのは史上初となる。
