Short Weird Story : Thing From A Mountain

Now I will tell you a short weird story. It's very short, a kind of weird. Have some fun.

Title : Thing From A Mountain

One day, in a cloudy afternoon, me and son were walking on the street, way back from his kindergarten. My son, five years old, stopped and said, pointing his finger in the air, "There, someone. What he doing?". I looked up and found the man in the window upstair, at a house over the street. This man made a face of agony, likely confused, seemed to grumbling something unclear. When he noticed us watching him, he shouted something and abruptly shut the window. Then, after the seconds, the window was opened again and the woman showed up. She watched us half smiling and waved her hand slowly like beckoning, or praying. I kind of felt weird, so we feigned not to notice and tried to walk away. After we separated from the house, we heard the sharp scream behind us. It must be her. She shouted with a screeching voice, "It's coming from the mountain!"

That's all. Is it too short? Hmm…but this is the first original version of this story written by Helvetch. Helvetch is a nickname for this unknown person who had been posted a bunch of stories on the internet forum called "Loophole" which had been shut down more than ten years ago. "Loophole" is a kind of platform gathering the creepy stories from the users, so the users posted their experiences and some stories they know, or maybe also the creations. Most of users didn't care about if the stories were the real experience or not. The most important thing is whether the story could make them feel something.

And Helvetch was one of popular poster. She had posted a series of very short stories for a few years, and then abruptly stopped to show up on the forum. There was a bit of fuss over her disappearing, anyway, it's another story. I was a fan of her, so I had been collected her stories which were posted on the forum. It's because of her style of telling. It's not so easy to tell you, so I hope you get what I want to mean by reading the story. Ciao.
