Father

Gray is the color
of my father’s hair,
and at the time he met his wife,
it was black. His hair
changed color
as time passed.

In the past,
he liked dying his hair.
When his daughter
was born, it was blond.
While his wife was
expecting his second
child, he stopped
dying, so
his hair turned into
the original color,
black again, and
as time passed,
he started to notice some gray hair,
so sometimes dyed his hair brown.

Now his daughter
is 20 and son
is 10. He stopped
dying his hair
before I noticed,
and now,
his hair is gray.
