容子さん

民生委員児童委員連絡協議会に所属。他、複数の団体で活動。子どもから高齢者まで、直島町の人々の相談を引き受けて頑張っている。

She provides consultation on various matters to residents of Naoshima Town, from children to the elderly.

バドミントンサークルを創ったきっかけは、友達に声をかけられたから！1979年に結成して、もう45年だから半世紀に近いです。最盛期は、メンバー が95人もいました。現在の目的は、楽しみながら健康を維持する事が、1番。特に、大切にしていることは、人との出会いと繋がりです。やっぱり人との出会いを大事にしてね。それが、自分の財産になるからねって。

このサークルで、素晴らしい出会いが沢山あり、発足メンバーと一緒に、色んな経験や勉強をしてきました。これからは、息子や孫の代にバドミントンを通して、生涯スポーツを楽しみながら、仲間づくりをしてもらいたいです ね。私たちも、出来るだけ長く続けたいと思っています。

The reason I created the Badminton club was because a friend invited me to join. It has been 45 years since it started and at its peak there were 95 members. I have met many wonderful people here and have experienced many things with the members. From now on, I would like my sons and grandchildren to enjoy the sport and make friends through badminton. we would also like to keep it going for as long as possible.
