ドッカ～ン バチバチバチ バチッ ！
これって知ってます。私はあんまり好きじゃないですけどね。
『モモちゃん ただいま 行ってきたよ。花火大会。凄かったの。あのね ドカドカ ドッカーン、こんな こんな こんな～に大きな花火が 頭の上から降ってくるの。それでね え～と え～と・・・』
まあまあ ちょっと 落ちついて・・・・って言っても無理みたい。
お父さんとお母さんとルーちゃんとお母さんのお友達とみんな一緒に 大きな湖の花火大会に行ってきたみたいです。その町に住む人は え～と 私の片手に指が５本あるでしょ。これに丸を一杯つけて・・・五万人くらいだっけ。それがこの花火大会の時は その十倍もの人が集まるんだって。う～ん 説明していても私にはその凄さはわかりませんけど。
お母さんのお友達が朝早くにその日に買えるチケットを買う為に、長い列に加わって、とても苦労して良い席で見られるように準備をしてくれたんだって。だから花火を見上げるようにして近くから見ることができたみたいです。ものすご～く 大きくて、お腹にも心臓にもドカンドカンと響き渡る超特大花火を楽しめたとか。小さな花火大会はあちらこちらでやっているでしょ。そのフィナーレっていうのかな、最後にたくさん花火をあげるでしょ。
この諏訪湖の花火大会は、こういう小さな花火大会のフィナーレみたいな花火が最初から最後までずっと続くから、そのスケールの大きさと美しさに思わず、お客さん達は口笛を吹いたりため息をついたり拍手をしたり・・・するくらいスゴイんだって。
『アッ モモちゃん、言い忘れてた。花火も凄かったけど、行く時の電車の混み方も凄かったし、帰りの電車に乗る為にものすごく長い行列を作って待ってた時間も長かったの。お父さんやお母さんやお友達が迷子になるといけないから、私がしっかり守ってあげたけどね。』
背の高いルーちゃんに みんなしがみついて頼りにしたんだね。

『えっ モモちゃん、今何か言った？』
Boom! Crackle, crackle, crackle! Pop! You know what I mean. I don't really like them, but...
"Momo-chan, I'm back! We went to the fireworks festival. It was amazing. Boom, boom, BOOM! Huge fireworks fell from above. And, um... what else..."
Well, well, calm down a bit. But that seems impossible.
My mom and dad (owners), Roo-chan, and mom's friend all went together to the big lake's fireworks festival. The residents of that town are about 50,000. But during the festival, ten times that number of people gather.
Hmm, I can't really grasp the enormity, though.
Mom's friend lined up early in the morning to buy tickets available only on that day. She struggled to get good seats for everyone. Thanks to her, they got to watch the fireworks from a great spot, close enough to look up at them. They enjoyed super large fireworks that echoed through their stomachs and hearts, reverberating loudly. Smaller fireworks festivals take place here and there, with many fireworks going off at the finale. However, at the Suwako Fireworks Festival, the scale and beauty of such grand finales last from start to finish, leaving the audience whistling, sighing, and applauding in amazement.
“Oh, Momo-chan, I forgot to mention. The fireworks were incredible, but the crowded trains going there were also overwhelming. And waiting in the long line to catch the train back home took forever. But I made sure to keep an eye on dad, mom, and friends so they wouldn't get lost.”
