「彼はとても優しいので親から離れられない」

=  He is too kind to leave his parents.
ここまでは簡単ですね・・・

実は続きがあります⁉
「彼はとても優しい人なので親から離れられない」
人 という名詞を入れるとどうなるか・・・⁉

a man   の入れ方が微妙なのです・・

He is so kind a man that he cannot leave his parents.
✖ a so kind man    ✖ so a kind man        
〇  so kind a man

He is too kind a man to leave his parents.
✖ a too kind man  ✖ too a kind man       
〇  too kind a man

so, too は 形容詞との密着度が高いため・・離せないのです。
なので・・
so kind,   too kind  の後ろに　a 名詞を置きます

such a man   のように　
such や quite  は　名詞を強調するので
such (quite )  a kind man       
a kind man   という名詞句の前に
such, quite, what  を置いて強調するので・・
併せて理解しましょう。
