作品紹介「東京ポロック」

俯瞰の地図上からその地域の特性に合ったカラーでドロッピングを行う作品を制作して2点目ですが、今回少し画材を変更してたりと、わずかながらに新しい試みを行っております。

この2点目の作品もベースは1点目の「尼崎ポロック」と同様にJackson Pollockのイメージをオマージュした作品となります。

こちらの作品についてはカラーに込められた意味をあえて例示しません。
今作は前作に比べて色が混ざり合っていることから
「この色は〜という意味です」
と明示しにくいのもあるのですが。

そのような様々な要素が混ざり合ったのが大都市・東京なのかな…とも思います。

This is the second work that I have created, in which I use colors that match the characteristics of the area from an overhead map.
This time, I have slightly changed the painting materials and made a new attempt.

The base of this second work is the same as the first "Amagasaki- Pollock", which pays homage to the image of Jackson Pollock.
I dare not give an example of the meaning behind the colors in this work.
The colors in this work are more blended than in the previous work, so it is difficult to specify "this color means...".

I think that Tokyo is a mixture of these various elements.
