イギリス・パンケーキレースの旅 (6)〜ここがオルニー！ The Pancake Race Trip 〜 This is Olney!

*English follows. これは2023年2月18日から25日まで、パンケキーレースの視察で、イギリスのオルニーという町を訪れたときのレポートです。

オルニーは、可愛らしい美しい町でした。止まっている車もベンツやポルシェで、リタイアした人達が暮らす町だそうです。パンケーキレースの運営委員長からアメリカ人のティムを紹介され。社交的な彼に連れられて町をひと通り回り、皆さんから温かい歓迎を受けました。

This is a journal on a visit to the town of Olney in UK from the 18th-25th of February 2023 to do research on the Pancake Race.

Olney was a lovely, beautiful town. I hear this is where
retired people live. I could see it seeing the cars like Mercedes or Porsches parked in the streets. The chairperson of the pancake race organising committee introduced me to Tim, an American who was also visiting Olney from Liverty, Kansas. He was very sociable that he took me around the town. It was thankful everyone gave me a warm welcome.
