Mental Sabotage Using Sound & Light at Sotetsu Hotel & Lawson

1. Introduction

I will briefly describe the mental sabotage using sound & light that I experienced on the morning of March 5, 2018, at a Sotetsu hotel (*) in Shinjuku, Tokyo & the nearby Lawson convenience store.

(*) Hotel Sunroute Takadanobaba
This hotel closed its operations in August 2018.
Sotetsu is a railway company in the Kanto region.

The organization that utilized the hotel and convenience store, skillfully combining sound and light and making me perceive these at multiple locations, is limited to those with significant power and technology.

This is not something that can be executed at a civilian level.

The purpose of staying at the hotel was to prepare materials for a consultation with a lawyer, scheduled for March 8, 2018. I judged that it would not be appropriate to prepare them at home.

2. Abnormal Occurrences in Front of the Hotel

In the afternoon of March 4, 2018, I took a taxi from Shinjuku Station in Tokyo. I decided on the hotel to stay at that night while I was in the taxi.

Despite this, there were numerous black sedans parked in front of the hotel.

The room I was guided to was next to a large staff-only room on either the 7th or 8th floor, and I believe it was the outermost room.

I couldn't concentrate on preparing the materials. I might have been subjected to attacks that hindered my brain activity at that time as well.

3. Mental Sabotage Using Sound & Light

3.1 Incidents in the Hotel

The next morning, when I woke up, I heard a strange sound.

I couldn't recall the exact sound for a long time, but when I heard a sound effect used in a TV program in 2022, I instantly realized, "This is the sound!"

I think it was the sound of something heavy rolling.

Right after hearing that sound, I thought, "Is this a sign that something is about to start?"

After that, I decided to go to a nearby convenience store to buy breakfast.

On the way to the elevator, I heard a sound like a large object falling inside the break room. I felt a bit of fear.

While waiting in front of the elevator, the chime that signals the elevator's arrival suddenly started ringing loudly, and the lights began flashing intensely.

There were two elevators, and their lights flashed alternately. I think this continued for several seconds.

After entering the elevator and the doors closed, the chime began ringing loudly again, and the ceiling lights flashed intensely before the elevator started moving.

I think this also continued for several seconds.
At that time, I still didn't understand what these series of sounds and lights meant.

3-2 Incidents at Lawson

When I went to the Lawson near the hotel to pick up vegetable juice & canned coffee and went to the cashier, I noticed that the cashier was the same person who had served me 2-3 times the previous day.

After a while, suddenly, several types of electronic sounds entered my ears.

Before hearing those sounds, someone might have used a fax machine, and I might have heard the electronic sound that occurs when the transmission starts.

What I clearly remember are continuous sounds.
I can't recall at this moment whether pulse-like sounds were mixed in.

The sounds I heard near my ear included multiple sounds, among which was the entrance chime of Lawson.

However, I determined that, in addition to the sound I heard near my ear, the actual entrance chime might also have been mixed in.

I considered that the sounds might have been directed at me from a small staff room next to the register, but I am not sure.

Feeling that it was dangerous to continue listening to the sounds, I looked at the cashier (*), who was already looking at me and quietly nodded.

I think the electronic sounds continued for more than 10 seconds.

If the sounds were a mix of multiple sounds generated inside the store, the difference in their points of origin should have caused differences in how they were perceived, so I concluded that I was hearing artificial sounds.

(*) The cashier who served me was the same person who attended to me when I visited the store two or three times the previous day (March 4th), and he looked very much like one half of a certain comedy duo. I don't believe he was a regular employee. He might have been hired temporarily, but it is unclear whether he was carrying a device that emits sounds.

I’m not sure if the Frey effect can cause a person to perceive multiple electronic sounds simultaneously, but it’s possible that a directional acoustic device was used.

3-3 Incidents before and after Checkout

After returning to my room, I had breakfast, took a shower, and then went down to the lobby floor to check out.

When I got out of the elevator, my body trembled with fear.

Perhaps it was an artificial induction of anxiety using technology like "Nervous System Manipulation by Subliminal Acoustic Signals" (U.S. Patent No. 6,017,302).

The lobby was full of foreigners. Although I had stayed at this hotel 1-2 times before, it was the first time I had encountered such a situation.
I saw a woman repeatedly saying, "He can do it!" as she left with her companions.

At that time, I thought "He" might refer to me.
In fact, it might have meant that I am "susceptible to stress but able to endure it.

Among the foreigners, two men in suits were looking at me.

I thought they might be the leaders of the organization that had subjected me to sound and light attacks, so I tried to make eye contact with the more robust of the two to see if he would assure that I'll be alright in the future. However, he avoided my gaze, and they both headed toward the exit.

When he looked at me again, I tried to make eye contact once more, and he reluctantly responded.

After checking out and stepping outside, I had a feeling that the two were still around.

Peeking down a side alley, I saw them walking away from the hotel.

At least one of them looked back at me. After that, I headed to the nearest station.

4. Follow-up with the Hotel and Lawson

The first time I contacted the company that operates the hotel (Sotetsu Hotel Management) and Lawson might have been in April 2022.

At that time, I inquired through their website about who was allowed to use the facility in relation to the aforementioned incident.

I received no response from Sotetsu Hotel Management.

Lawson, on the other hand, responded that they were unable to address the matter, which I interpreted as implying that they had some information but were unable to share it with me.

In May 2022, I proposed a joint disclosure of the human experimentation organization to several companies, including Sotetsu Hotel Management and Lawson, but received no response from any of them.

When I inquired again via certified mail with a delivery confirmation in February 2023, there was still no response from Sotetsu Hotel Management.

Lawson responded promptly, suggesting that the sounds might have originated from within the store.

When I pointed out that the combination of sounds I heard did not match any that could be naturally produced in the store and that two external individuals were likely involved, they replied curtly, stating that they had not authorized the use of their facility by any organization and that there were no records of such use, adding that they could not provide any further assistance.

In February 2024, I sent another inquiry via certified mail with delivery confirmation to both companies, along with other companies, but again received no response.

On August 28, 2024, I sent another registered letter to Sotetsu Hotel Management and Lawson.

As of September 3, there was still no response from Sotetsu Hotel Management.

On September 2, I received a regular mail response from Lawson dated August 29, acknowledging receipt of my registered letter.

They reiterated their explanation regarding the possibility of the sounds originating from within the store and stated that the cashier did not intentionally produce any unusual sounds.

They also mentioned that they had reviewed my post on Note.

On September 2, 2024, after receiving the response from Lawson, I made several posts on X to counter their claims.

On September 3, I updated this post and replaced the illustration related to the incident at Lawson.

5. Supplementary Information

5-1 About the Person Who Got Out of the Sedan Parked in Front of the H

otel

When I got out of the taxi, a man who got out of one of the sedans and glared at me was highly likely to be the same person I saw at a café in Shibuya, Tokyo in 2014.

I hope to post about what happened at this café separately.

5-2 Home Visit to the Lawson Cashier

In March 2023, I received a request to vacate my apartment from the new owner of the building.

In April 2024, a person who was different from the owner or the management company visited my apartment, claiming he wanted to explain something related to real estate.

As soon as I saw the face on the intercom, I realized it was the same person who had handled the checkout at Lawson.

After receiving a response from Lawson on September 2, 2024, regarding the document I sent on August 28, 2024, I made several posts on X to counter their claims. On September 3, I updated and revised this post and replaced the illustration related to the incident at Lawson.
