Paper on the Frey Effect (Microwave Auditory Effect)

1. Introduction

On March 5, 2018, I was subjected to psychological destruction operations using sound and light at Hotel Sunroute Takadanobaba (*), operated by Sotetsu Hotel Management Co., Ltd., and at the nearby Lawson Takadanobaba Ekimae-dori store.

Since then, I have continued to experience various forms of torture and human experimentation.

Some of these tortures and experiments were likely conducted as early as the 1980s, meaning they had already begun during my student years.

At the time, I suspected that ultrasonic waves were being used to induce pain and other sensations in the genital and anal areas.

Additionally, since I was subjected to tinnitus attacks even while outside, I suspected that mobile phone base stations were being utilized as well.

It was not until May 2023 that I began to understand the technical aspects of these phenomena.

The first technologies I became aware of, were directional acoustic weapons, (patented) subliminal acoustic manipulation of the nervous system, and voice-to-skull technology. (Relevant Twitter (now X) URL <in Japanese>)

It was around this time that I first learned about the Frey Effect (Microwave Auditory Effect) as a phenomenon.

Later, I decided to obtain a copy of Dr. Allan Frey's paper (*2) on this effect, which was referenced in a Wikipedia article, from the National Diet Library.

In this post, I will briefly summarize the contents of the paper as I understood them.

2.Phenomena Induced by Frey Effect in Test Subjects

The paper describes the following three types of phenomena:

(1) RF Sounds (Perceived Sounds Varying with Pulse Width and Pulse Repetition Frequency (PRF))

With appropriate modulation, various RF sounds can be induced in test subjects located from a few inches to several thousand feet (approximately 10 cm to several kilometers) (*3) away from the transmitter. These sounds include:

Buzzing sounds
Clicking sounds
Hissing sounds
Knocking sounds

This technology is applicable to both individuals with clinically diagnosed hearing impairments and those with normal hearing.

Additionally, the paper states that at carrier frequencies of 425 MHz and 1310 MHz (*4), an acoustic noise of approximately 80 dB (*5) can be perceived when a peak power density of 275 mW/cm² is applied.

(*3) 1 inch = 2.54 cm, 1 foot = 30.48 cm

(*4) Microwaves
IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) Standard:
300 MHz – 300 GHz (wavelength 1 m – 1 mm)

Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (Japan) Definition:

(*5) Equivalent to noise levels inside an aircraft or in an arcade

The paper does not specify the relationship between the test subject's distance from the transmitter and the required peak power density.

Furthermore, the term "within the RF field" is used, indicating that

Regardless of how the test subject twists or rotates within the field, the perceived sound always seems to come from inside the head or directly behind them.

The paper also discusses the possible mechanisms by which microwaves induce auditory perceptions.

(2) Intense Head Shaking (Without Dizziness or Nausea)

(3) Tingling Sensation ("Pins-and-Needles" Sensation)

These phenomena are introduced in the paper, but no in-depth analysis is provided.

3. Association with Symptoms Perceived by AHI Victims and Myself

(1) RF Sounds (Perceived Sounds Varying with Pulse Width and PRF)

Some AHI victims have reported perceiving these sounds.

Until recently, I believed I had never perceived such sounds. However, in multiple instances, including January 25, 2025, I perceived a snoring-like sound (which could also be described as a low-frequency buzzing sound), and on February 3, 2025, I perceived a hissing sound.

Both sounds felt as if they originated towards the back of the nasal cavity, within the skull.

The sounds occurred at the moment I inhaled through my nose, but:

My mouth was closed.
My nose was not significantly congested.

Given these factors, I strongly suspect that these were artificially induced sounds rather than naturally occurring ones.

(2) Intense Head Shaking (Without Dizziness or Nausea)

In the following article, the term "concussion-like symptoms" is used, which may refer to this particular phenomenon.
The report mentions:

Severe pain in the right ear
Noise
Headaches

Personally, I have not experienced this symptom since at least March 2018.
However, before that, I had experienced it for many years.

Initially, I would feel dizziness, followed by:

A sensation of my head shaking violently
A feeling as if my head was being pressed down onto a desk
However, I never experienced nausea.

Therefore, at least in my case, it is unlikely that the Frey effect alone was responsible for these symptoms.

(3) "Pins-and-Needles" Sensation

The paper does not provide details on:

・What this sensation specifically feels like
・Where on the body it is perceived

I am also uncertain whether AHI victims have reported experiencing this symptom.

However, even if they have perceived it, they may not recognize it as an abnormal sensation.

I only recently realized that I might have been experiencing this sensation.
This awareness emerged shortly before I started posting about "itch attacks."

For example,

"I felt a pinpoint tingling or light brushing sensation on my right cheek, and immediately afterward, I felt the same sensation on the left side of my neck."

However, in my case, even if I experience this tingling sensation in multiple locations,

Each instance is brief and felt in a single pinpoint location.

If these sensations are being deliberately targeted at specific locations on my body, then it is unlikely that they are caused by the Frey effect alone.

4. The Relationship Between the Frey Effect and the Symptoms Reported by AHI Victims and Myself

When I first came across articles about AHI and recalled this incident, I initially believed that the Frey effect was primarily being used on AHI victims and myself.

However, if the Frey effect is a phenomenon that utilizes microwave energy, I have come to think that it is not the main cause of AHI.

For about seven years, I have been experiencing multiple symptoms almost constantly, day and night.

There have also been several instances where I was subjected to attacks so intense that I felt as if I was about to lose my mind or even consider taking my own life.

If microwave energy had been continuously irradiated at me over such a long period, I doubt that I would have been able to survive for seven years.

That said, I do not believe that the Frey effect is entirely absent.

Rather, I think it is highly likely that multiple technologies and effects are being used in combination.

Most likely, signals that induce various symptoms and signals that adjust the intensity of symptom perception are being irradiated onto the target using electromagnetic waves or ultrasonic waves.

I plan to further analyze this matter separately.
