The labour in Japan in COVID-19 situation 2

If your partner isn't able to stay by your side during the labour, how do you bring any alternative things instead of his or her existence.

You possibly could bring
-His or her T-shirt or whichever you can smell their scent.
-A tripod and a lot of data for video chat/facetime/zoom.
Of course you can bring "the thing," however, you also can bring "the memory."

For example...
How about practicing abdominal breathing together? or the mock contractions practice?
1.set the alarm 30-60 seconds.
2.Imagine you gradually feel contractions on your uterus need breathe slowly. your partner can lead breathing or touching for letting her relax.
3.When it reach the half time of what you set ( i.e if you set the alarm 1min, 30 sec is half),
your contraction reach the peak, and from then, it's getting mild. Your partner try to let any tighten her body parts like a palm, jaw, shoulder, neck or arms relax/loosen.

If you do these practice together, even you are alone in the labour room, you can remember those time and what your partner said or touched.
That's also encourage you to hold your baby in your arms.
