このnoteで訳したBMTHの曲も3つ目となった。

いつも思うことだが、BMTHはとにかく歌詞が重たくて、伸しかかるような、その一方で寄り添うような声が好きで……なんだかそんな自分が心が参ってる人みたいだ。

煌びやかなサウンドに乗せて押し寄せる崩壊の曲。

ドロップチューニングでもなければポップ寄りのロックで、BMTH入門として聴きやすい曲だ。まあデスコアメタルコアエレクトロコアを求めない人に対してだけど。

Drownのライブ映像を見ると、BMTHは一人称として自分のことを歌っているのに、同じように歌うファンの心情に寄り添って、ファンと演者の悲しみがリンクしたフロアが出来上がっている。
自分のことを歌っていることが結局人を救うことになる。そんな彼らが好きです。
