初詣 日本のお正月の伝統を体験
お正月、日本で最も重要で広く祝われる行事の一つです。日本に住み始めたばかりの私は、この豊かな伝統を直接体験する機会に恵まれました。神聖な神社で行われる伝統的なお参りから、おせち料理などの美味しい食べ物まで、日本のお正月は古い習慣と現代の祝い方が見事に調和しています。
私は大阪の有名な住吉大社へ初詣に行くことにしました。住吉大社は約2000年の歴史があり、海の神様と神功皇后を祀る神社です。4つの本宮があり、それぞれ異なる神様が祀られています。
元日の午前11時に到着すると、雨と混雑にもかかわらず、雰囲気は素晴らしく静かでした。私は神社で大切なことをたくさん学びました。手を洗って清めることや、鳥居をくぐる前にお辞儀をすること。そして本殿での参拝作法など、初詣を通して日本の文化と伝統を肌で感じることができました。
私は神社で良い運を祈願し、おみくじを引きました。日本の伝統的なお守りも買いました。初詣は新たなスタートを切り、新年の目標を立てる良い機会だと思います。心が洗われるような、とても意義深い体験でした。
住吉大社は見どころがたくさんあります。象徴的な反橋や、結婚式が行われる美しい神殿。そして一寸法師伝説の発祥の地としても有名です。
日本のお正月は初詣だけではありません。大晦日の除夜の鐘、おせち料理、お年玉など、たくさんの伝統行事があります。家族が集まり、新しい年をお祝いします。
日本に住んでいる人も、日本文化に興味がある人も、ぜひ一度は初詣を体験してみてください。きっと素敵な思い出になると思います。日本のお正月からは、家族を大切にすることや、感謝の気持ちを忘れないことなど、大切なことをたくさん学べます。
私にとって初めての初詣は、本当に特別な体験となりました。また来年も参加できることを楽しみにしています！

First visit Experience Japan's New Year's traditions
The New Year, or "shogatsu", is one of the most important and widely celebrated events in Japan. As a newcomer to Japan, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to directly experience these rich traditions. From the traditional prayers performed at sacred shrines to delicious foods like osechi ryori, the Japanese New Year beautifully harmonizes ancient customs with modern celebrations.
I decided to go for hatsumode, the first shrine visit of the year, at the famous Sumiyoshi Taisha in Osaka. Sumiyoshi Taisha has a history of about 2000 years and enshrines the gods of the sea and Empress Jingu. There are four main shrines, each dedicated to different deities.
Arriving at 11:00 a.m. on New Year's Day, the atmosphere was wonderful and quiet despite the rain and crowds. I learned many important things at the shrine. Washing your hands to purify yourself, bowing before passing through the torii gate. And the etiquette for praying at the main hall. Through hatsumode, I could feel Japanese culture and traditions with my own skin.
At the shrine, I prayed for good luck and drew an omikuji fortune. I also bought traditional Japanese amulets. I think hatsumode is a great opportunity to make a fresh start and set goals for the new year. It was a very meaningful experience that felt like my heart was being cleansed.
Sumiyoshi Taisha has many highlights. The iconic Sorihashi bridge, the beautiful shrine where weddings are held. It is also famous as the birthplace of the Issun-bōshi legend.
The Japanese New Year is not just about hatsumode. There are many traditional events, such as the ringing of temple bells on New Year's Eve, osechi ryori feast, and otoshidama gifts of money for children. Families gather to celebrate the new year together.
Whether you live in Japan or are interested in Japanese culture, I highly recommend experiencing hatsumode at least once. I'm sure it will become a wonderful memory. From the Japanese New Year, you can learn many important things, such as cherishing family and not forgetting to feel gratitude.
My first hatsumode was truly a special experience. I'm already looking forward to participating again next year!
