Flowers for ISSAY

2月5日、ISSAY君の献花式。
昨年の8月の突然の訃報は、真夏の蒸し暑い夜に見た悪夢のようだった。ISSAY君との出会いのきっかけをくれたのは櫻井君。その櫻井君も、後を追うように逝ってしまった。まるで申し合わせでもしたように。優しい暗闇の兄弟は、別れも告げることなく、僕たちのもとを去ってしまった。
ISSAY君との会話には、いつも学びがあった。僕が話すことで、ISSAY君が知らないことは無かった。そのたびに思った。この人はきっと、遠い過去から蘇った人なのだと。

ISSAY君、次はいつ蘇えるつもりなんだい？
深紅の薔薇で飾られた、君のお気に入りの場所に、いつか僕も招待してください。

この動画は、まだバンド名がKA.F.KAに決定する前夜。メンバー全員揃ってのリハーサルがほとんどできなかった中で、張り詰める緊張感と、お互いへの信頼感だけがあったあの夜の空気を、ISSAY君を、目撃してもらいたい。

Today was ISSAY's wreath-laying ceremony. The sudden news of his death last August was like a nightmare on a humid midsummer night.
It was Atsushi Sakurai(BUCK-TICK) who gave me the opportunity to meet ISSAY. Sakurai also has gone, following in ISSAY’s footsteps. It was as if their secret promise. Our loving brothers of darkness left us without saying goodbye.

I always enjoyed conversations with ISSAY and learnt a lot. He looked like as if there's nothing that he doesn't know.  I always thought he must have come back to this world from the distant past.

When are you going to come back to life next, ISSAY ?

This movie was taken at the LIVE the "night before" the band name was decided to be KA.F.KA.  I want you all to witness ISSAY and us in the atmosphere of that night, where there was only tension and trust in each other.
