リヴァイアサンなどと呼ばれるלִוְיָתָן(ヘブライ語で)とは、海の怪物のことらしいです。この画像では見えませんが、台座の壁面にこの文字が見られます。
As a monster
לִוְיָתָן, the sea serpent in ancient mythology, and it is synonymous with any large sea monster or creature. You will see that sign at the bottom of the picture.
曲としてのリヴァイアサン
特筆すべきは音階
この曲は、符号上はAナチュラルマイナースケールだが、多用する音階の要素からAハーモニックマイナースケールと解釈できる。また、時々CリディアンやCナチュラルマイナーも見られ、曲の雰囲気を崩さずに(むしろ暗さを助長するように)モーダルインターチェンジを行なっている。
曲の解釈
Bセクション21小節目で見られるCリディアンスケールは、議論の余地があり、その他曲中で見られるすべての#ⅳ⚪︎は、このスケールによるものよりかは上行音(ⅵ-Ⅳ/Ⅵ-#ⅳ/Ⅵの持続低音様)のためだと考えられる。迫り上がってくる上行音は、ダークな緊張感をもたらす。Cセクション(36小節目〜)ではCナチュラルマイナーと、その半音上の音階からの借用和音が見られる。比較的明るさを感じるEセクション(62小節目〜)では、それまで転回形を除いて見られなかったⅤやⅥが見られることも特徴的だろう。とにかく暗い。

The characteristical scale
This song has the A natural minor scale's key signature, but it is on the A harmonic minor scale as the note used from it is used. Also, the C Lydian scale and C natural minor scale are sometimes seen, taking place modal interchanges without change in the song's atmosphere, let alone making its darkness further.
The "aesthetic"
The C Lydian scale in the B section, bar 21, which I mentioned above, is yet to be confirmed because all #ⅳ⚪︎s in this song is from not this scale but the ascending, such as ⅵ-Ⅳ/Ⅵ-#ⅳ/Ⅵ, namely a pedal point. Ascending notes feel dark and tense. In the C section from bar 36, the C natural minor and its half upper scale's borrowed chord are played. In addition, it is characteristic that Ⅴ and Ⅵ are found in the E section from bar 62 even though they are nowhere until then. Anyway, it's dark!
