"さらちゃんの世界ミュージアムずかん" 　(Sarah's Illustrated Guide to Museums in the World)

2014年12月制作の大学の卒業制作作品。

私の持っていた”ミュージアム”の概念を大きく変えた外国のミュージアム。
そのおもしろさを伝えたい！との思いから自らの目で見て体感して得た印象をイラストレーションで伝えるミュージアムガイドブックを制作しました。
自分自身を投影したキャラクター「さる」を案内役とし、全１０館を展示・建物のおもしろさなどの点から５つのカテゴリーに分類し、実際に訪れた私だからこそできる表現で生き生きと紹介しています。

Illustrated Book / Graduation work

I traveled to many countries and visited many museums in abroad when I was in the university.
Comparing to Japanese museums, they have a lot of "wow" factors,
everything I saw was eye-opening, and so interesting!!
The book is aiming at sharing that emotion with the readers,
by capturing the museums' features through my lively illustrations and comments.
The monkey in the book is myself, as a guide.
(In Japanese, Monkey is "Sa-ru". It sounds like "Sarah", right?)

All information in the book including illustrations and comments are
from my “actual” experiences of what I saw, felt, and thought.
By expressing my actual experiences into my own illustrations,
it made able to express my feeling as much.
