1] No attacking alliances/alliance NAP - All alliance players and their subordinate cities are protected from attack during the week (Monday-Thursday) and after SvS (every other Sunday evening). KOS players and unallied players and their subordinate cities are not protected during NAP and are free to attack. If you are attacked as an allied player during NAP, see your alliance policy on whether or not you can attack back or request compensation, each alliance decides this on their own. Retaliation attacks are only authorized against the original attacker, not innocent players from their alliance.
2] No attacking resource tiles or relics - Resource tiles and relics are part of our growth as individual players, alliances and servers so we don't attack them during NAP periods or during KE. The only times relics and resource tiles can be attacked is:
-During purge before SvS which takes place one hour before SvS begins.
-When occupied by someone who has officially been declared KOS by Council and the KOS player occupying alone.
Relic stealing is allowed, but only when the relic is empty and has no troops in it, otherwise it would be an attack which is illegal.
3] If attacked, attack back or ask for compensation - Alliances have the autonomy to decide how they handle attacks on their members, whether to request compensation or attack the attacker and only the attacker. It is prohibited to attack the player's alliance members and innocent players in retaliation.
4] PvP weekend events - Every other weekend (Friday-Sunday) the server enters KE or SvS. During KE, players are free to attack anyone without a bubble without consequences but during SvS players attack the enemy server players and only attack our own if purging someone who is not bubbled. A scout or reaching out to their leaders is encouraged over attacking active players during SvS so their leaders can decide how to handle their absence or to use a green bubble on their city while trying to reach them. Unallied players are free to attack everyday.
Alliances can request a do not hit (DNH) on a player experiencing a real life emergency. If in the event a DNH player is hit, compensation is expected to be paid to the player.
KE is suspended after SvS indefinitely.
5] KOS - A player can become KOS by breaking any server rules unapologetically, refusing to compensate for attacks, ignoring compensation requests and repeat offenses. KOSs are issued by Council after evidence is examined, discussed and a vote is held. Duration of KOS can range from a week, two weeks or three weeks as a three strike rule but can become permanent after three strikes. KOS can be lifted either by duration ending or lifted by Council after the KOS player makes amends to the server and the player they harmed and the rule breaking behavior stops. After a player has been officially declared KOS, they cannot occupy an alliance. The alliance has 24 hours to expel a KOS player from the time it has been brought to council attention and an R4 or R5 has been mailed. The consequence for not expelling a KOS player in that time frame will be that the entire alliance will be declared KOS also.
6] Subordinate city event claiming -
Players who did not win the key to the city or were not given a subordinate city from the event by a player who won a key cannot steal the subordinate city while the claiming player is unshielded during the event's mandatory ten minute cooldown.
Historic Subordinate City Event Subordinate Cities should be claimed at the site where the subordinate city is located, next to the subordinate city and not long distance from elsewhere like from a player's alliance hive so other players know the reason when you're unbubbled to claim the city for the ten minute cooldown. This is mostly relevant during KE weekends.
Subordinate city keys should not be opened during SvS or KE events. If in the case of an emergency, speak to your Council representative immediately and have them address the issue with Council. Council will strategize a solution to help you get your subordinate city. In a case such as that, it's better to use an alt or have a teammate hold your city until you can safely get it after SvS or KE ends.
7] Leveling generals on sub cities - Subordinate cities cannot be claimed or stolen while they are unowned if there are players actively using it to level generals.
8] Subordinate Cities during SvS - Subordinate Cities are prohibited from being stolen from home server players while they are unbubbled.
9] Throne - During KE weekend, those who are taking or helping take the throne and guard the person taking the throne are prohibited from being attacked or their sub cities stolen from them while they are unbubbled. Those people are also prohibited from attacking anyone other than a player who poses a threat to the current throne occupancy they are assisting with securing. Players helping with the throne should park adjacent to the forest so they are easily identifiable.
During SvS weekend, the alliance whose player is taking the throne will decide whether or not a throne truce will be requested from the enemy server but that alliance is also responsible for informing the rest of the server of their decision in a suitable time frame.
10] Throne Rotation - Throne rotation is composed of those who rank top 5 in SvS with net positive points (a positive score after an individual player's negative points are subtracted from their positive points) in order it was earned. Order is determined in the order it top 5 was earned with net positive points. In the event of multiple earners in a single weekend, order is based on rank from that weekend.
11] SvS Purge - Purge begins one hour before SvS. Purgers are required to scout active players first before zeroing. DNH players will be bubbled by their own alliance during SvS or will request a player from another alliance to zero them if they won't be back in time to bubble.
12] Pyramids and Barbarians - Do not steal pyramids or barbarian castles from other players. In the case of pyramids, participants should ensure there are no other march lines going to the pyramid and then speed march their troops in to avoid collisions, attacks and misunderstandings and keep an eye on one's own troops while occupying a pyramid. If attacks do happen, compensation is required to be paid to the occupier from the attacker. Pyramids are prohibited from being occupied during SvS and will be cleared if caught by home server players to not give away points to enemy server.
