はじめまして！Kozueと申します。沖縄県宜野湾市とオンラインを拠点に、バイリンガル子育てや英語教育のお手伝いをしています。モンテッソーリを含む幼児教育・保育と英語・バイリンガル教育分野の経験を活かし、お子様の成長と広い世界での未来に向けてのサポートにコミットいたします。

Hello! My name is Kozue, and I'm a bilingual (English and Japanese) child-care provider and tutor based in Ginowan, Okinawa. I offer high-quality services to both Japanese and non-Japanese families across Okinawa and beyond (online). With over 15 years of experience in Montessori and kindergarten teaching, I specialize in early years education.


2023年にNoteアカウントは作りましたが、すっかりと放置されておりました。今後は、私の活動内容や今までに培ってきた叡智を少しでもシェアすべく、発信もぼちぼちしていきます。

活動内容

という3つのサービスを提供しています。ただお子様を預かるだけでなく、保育・教育・英語・コーチングのプロとして、保護者様の子育てのチームメンバー兼アドバイザーとしてサポートさせていただきます。英語コーチングに関しては、親子で受けてくださっているご家族もいらっしゃいます。

最新情報

オンラインでのジョリーフォニックスのレッスンも開始しました。本場イギリスの教育現場で行ってきた実践的な読み書きのカリキュラムを提供します。ゲーム感覚で出来るオンラインアプリが優秀なんです。

経歴

幼児教育分野でのキャリアを積んできました。イギリス、タイ、日本での経験を活かし、きめ細やかにそれぞれの家庭に合わせた保育・教育を提供しています。ベビーシッター、ナニーとしての経験を通じ、幅広い年齢層のお子様をお世話してきました。

資格

英国にて、モンテッソーリ教育と幼稚園・小学校教諭免許を取得しています。イギリス、タイ、日本での豊富な経験を活かし、お子様の成長をサポートします。日本に本帰国後、日本の保育士資格も取得しました。

得意分野

バイリンガル保育、おうち英語、モンテッソーリ教育、食育・作り置き料理、野外学習・遠足など楽しんで出来ることはいろいろです。

保育に対する価値観

私は育児をチームで行うことを重視しています。お子様の成長とご家族の幸せを共に目指しましょう。特に「ママの幸せは家族みんなの幸せ♡」ですよね。

幼稚園やモンテッソーリスクールでの教諭経験を活かし、実践的な学びの機会を提供します。お子様の興味に合わせて活動を選定し、楽しみながら成長できる環境を作ります。

Current Situation

Currently, I work as an online English teacher/coach while also offering part-time childcare services. As my work schedule is not fixed, please feel free to DM me to check for my latest availability! 

I have previously served as a full-time nanny for an American military family for about 2 years, providing me with a deep understanding of your situation.

Official Childcare Provider in Okinawa

My childcare service is officially registered at the Ginowan city office, and I have been a member of CareFinder since 2019. Additionally, I am CPR/First Aid Certified (Renewed in December 2023).

Qualification and Experience:

  • International Montessori Diploma (UK)

  • Certified Early Childhood Education Teacher (QTS, UK)

  • Over 15 years of child care and teaching career   (UK, Thailand and Japan)

Bilingual/Language Support:

I provide bilingual childcare and language support in Japanese for your child and anyone in need. I have been working with an American girl since she was six months old, and she is growing up bilingual in English and Japanese (almost two years old).

Montessori-Based Philosophy:

I treat all children with respect, encouraging independence and confidence. I offer them freedom of choice, listen to them, laugh and have fun with them, acknowledging and observing them. I don't resort to shouting, yelling, threats, punishment, or interruption while they're focused without a good reason.

Activity Ideas:

With my rich teaching experience, I offer a wide variety of fun and educational activities for children of all ages, including outdoor play, art and craft activities, and connecting school curricula to practical fun activities such as cooking. For younger children, we can explore nature, practice counting, and even write or draw in sand! I am experienced in phonics teaching and can support children with homework upon request.

Field Trips:

I can take children on field trips to the beach, parks, or other Okinawa attractions to give them a chance to explore and learn outside the home. Safety is my priority during these trips, and I provide snacks and water while closely monitoring the kids. Rest assured, I am CPR/First Aid certified.

Local Community Center:

I can take your child to the local community center to enjoy seasonal events and learn about Japanese traditions in a safe and supervised setting. Let's give your child the chance to make new friends and explore new experiences!

Food Prep/Shopping Support:

I can support you with cooking food suitable for your baby's or child's physical development. If you're interested in learning to cook Japanese food or need help with shopping, please ask me for more information about additional services.

PetService:

I love animals and pets and am happy to offer pet care services at no extra charge while watching your children. Let's discuss your pet's specific needs and see how I can help take care of them while you're away.
