Kuih Talam~マレーケーキ

初めて見たのは、BangsarのラッキーガーデンのPan mee屋さんに行った時
マレーシア歴の長いお友達が教えてくれた
日本のひし形餅のような形
緑と白の二層になってる
これが好きなんだぁ〜と友達が買って味見させてくれた。
もちっとしていて美味しい
この緑は、あとでパンダンだと分かった。
時折、マーケットで見つけると、つい買いたくなるクエだ。

Malaysian cake

I first saw this cake when I went to Bangsar to eat Pan Mee soup
(noodle soup).
My good friend who had been in Malaysia for a long time showed me this Kueh.
The shape of rhombus…two layers, green and white(hijau dan putih).
She gave me it a little while saying she liked it with her happy smile.
Actually it tasted very good.
I recognized that this green color came from Pandan leaf later.
Everytime I went to the market, I always bought these Malaysian cakes.
