2022.6.16《今日の聖書》エゼキエル書

【神】である主はこれらの骨にこう言う。見よ。わたしがおまえたちに息を吹き入れるので、おまえたちは生き返る。

（エゼ37:5／新改訳2017）　

 
　これらの骨は、谷に広がる枯れた骨のようである。死んだような状況なのです。しかし、そこに神様の息を吹き入れると生き返るのです。復活の希望がない、再会の期待がなければ、「死はただの耐えられない苦痛」となってしまいます。かさかさに枯れた骨のような絶望的な状況の中に置かれたとして、絶望だけでは終わらないのです。希望の息が吹き込まれるのです。
 
　今日も、主の希望で満たされますように・・・。

'Thus says the Lord God to these bones: "Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.

【Eze 37:5／NKJV】

This bone represents our fatal situation, we almost died like dry bones in a valley. But when God breathed into them his breath, they lived again. If we have no hope of resurrection and reunion, death will be just unbearable pain. Despair won't end as it is, even if we are placed in a desperate situation like very dry bones. God will give us a breath of hope.
