『これは、アブラハムがわたしの声に聞き従い、
わたしの命令と掟とおしえを守って、
わたしへの務めを果たしたからである。』
かつてアブラハムはゲラル人を恐れて妻を妹と偽りましたが、その子イサクも同じ轍を踏んだのです。親の悪い面を引き継いだのですが、悪い面だけではなく良い面も引き継いでいたのです。イサクはベエル・シェバで井戸問題で苦境に立っていた時に、神様からこのみ言葉を与えられるのです。(創26:24）「わたしは、あなたの父アブラハムの神である。恐れてはならない。わたしがあなたとともにいるからだ。わたしはあなたを祝福し、あなたの子孫を増し加える。わたしのしもべアブラハムのゆえに。」次の世代には、悪しき前轍ではなく、積善の余慶を残すのが肝要です。
今日も、主の命を守ることができますように・・・。
「"because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge,
My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.」
Abraham once pretended that his wife was his sister for fear of the Gerarites, and his son Isaac made the same mistake. He inherited the bad aspects of his parents, but not only the bad, but also the good. Isaac was in a difficult situation with the well problem in Beersheba when God gave him this word . (Gen. 26:24) “I am the God of your father Abraham; do not fear, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham's sake.” It is essential that we leave the next generation a legacy of goodness, not a bad rut.
May we keep the Lord's life today....
