№22. Facebookのおかげ。シンガポールでつながった出会いとチャンス。

先週はシンガポールでとあるスゴイ人との出会いがありました。

具体的な内容は控えますが、エニタイムフィットネスのビジネスに関わることで、直接お会いできたのが大変光栄な人との出会いです。

とあるホテルのルーフトップバーにてビールとカクテルで2時間半くらい。英語脳フル回転でヘトヘトになりましたが、とても刺激的で有意義な時間でした。

世界にはスゴイ人がたくさんいます。

こういう人と出会うことは自分の未熟さも思い知らされますがその分、成長の糧になっている気がします。

今回のテーマは

Facebookのおかげ。シンガポールでつながった出会いとチャンス

なのですが、

じつは今回の出会いもとある方からFacebookを通じてメッセージをもらったことがきっかけなのです。

Facebookをやってなかったら、この出会いはなかった。

こんなことがシンガポールに来てから、かれこれ4、5回くらいあります。

シンガポールで活動している私のFacebook投稿を直接、または間接に見た人が個別に連絡をくれるという感じです。

知らない人から「初めまして」と来るものもあれば、数年振りに連絡をくれた友人もいます。

「石渡さん、今、僕もシンガポールにいるんです！」といって、まさかの数年振りにシンガポールで再会した後輩もいました。

それもこれもすべてFacebookのおかげ。

10年以上の昔からFacebookのアカウントを持っていたものの、日本にいた頃はほぼ見る専門でした。

なんだか気恥ずかしくて自分から投稿なんてまずしませんし、「いいね！」すら滅多に押さないというありさま。

透明人間のようにこっそり覗くだけ。自分のことは決してひけらかさない。（なんだかすごくカッコ悪い。。）

情報は発信する人の所に集まるという性質があります。

自分からは大した情報を出さないのに、得るものだけは得ようなんてのは、そもそも成立しないはずです。

シンガポールで心機一転がんばろうっていうのなら、気恥ずかしいとかそんなこと言ってる場合ではない。とにかく自分から発信して、色んな情報にリーチしていこう。

ということで、シンガポール行きを機に自分もFacebookで発信することを始めてみました。

本当にやってみてよかったと思います。

こうして色々な情報やチャンスにつながることができ、「Facebookって、そういうことだったのか！」とようやく実感しました。

私の場合は、シンガポールでエニタイムフィットネスを運営する日本人

というアイコンで発信し続けることが大事だと思いました。

そして、つながるべき人に「へえ、こんな人がいるんだ」、「応援してあげたいな」、「何か一緒にできないかな？」とか、何でもいいのでとにかく見つけてもらう。

それがお互いにとって素敵な出会いやチャンスにつながれば最高です。

かつての私のようにFacebookでアカウント登録しているだけ、ほぼ見る専門でやっている方にも是非おすすめしたいです。

ぜひ、自分のアイコンを明確にして、それを軸に情報発信することを初めてみて下さい。

自分から情報を出せば出すほど、自分に情報が集まって来ることを実感できるはずです。

そして、あなたがまだ知らない、思いもよらないところから、あなたのことを見つけてくれる人がきっと現れるはずです。

I won't go into specific details, but it was a great honor to meet in person related Anytime Fitness business. About 2 and a half hours with beer and cocktails at the rooftop bar of a hotel. With full of my English, I spent a very exciting and meaningful time. There are many amazing people in the world. Encounters and opportunities connected in Singapore" Actually, I got a message from the person I met this time through Facebook. If I hadn't done Facebook, I wouldn't have met this opportunity. This has happened 4 or 5 times since I came to Singapore. It feels like someone who sees my Facebook post in Singapore, either directly or indirectly, will contact me individually. Someone say "Nice to meet you" from strangers, and some friends contact me for the first time in several years. To my surprise, I met my junior who is in Singapore . It's all thanks to Facebook. I had a Facebook account for more than 10 years, but when I was in Japan I was mostly specialized in watching. It's kind of embarrassing and I rarely post it myself, and I rarely even like it. Just sneak a peek like a transparent human. Never reveal myself. (Somehow it's really uncool.) Information has the property of gathering at the person who sends it. If you don't give out a lot of information from yourself, but you only get what you get, it shouldn't be true. If I am trying to change my mind in Singapore, it's not embarrassing or anything like that. Anyway, I should send from myself and reach various information. So, when I went to Singapore, I started Facebook. I'm really glad I tried it. In this way, I was able to connect to various information and opportunities, and I finally realized, "Is Facebook that kind of thing!" In my case, a Japanese who runs Anytime Fitness in Singapore I thought it was important to keep sending with the icon. Then, ask the people who should be connected to find out anything, such as "Hey, there is such a person", "I want to support him", "Can I do something together?" It would be great if it would lead to wonderful encounters and opportunities for each other. I would definitely recommend it to those who are specialized in watching, just like I used to be. By all means, please clarify your icon and try to disseminate information around it. The more information you give out, the more information you will have. And there will surely be someone who will find you from a place you don't know yet and you don't expect.
