英語表現No59

この『Note』では、私がこれまでに学習してきた「英語表現」を例文とともに紹介していきます。

59回目の今回は、

・make it a rule to do（動詞の原形）
・on time
・comply with A

の3つの表現です。

★make it a rule to do（動詞の原形）「～することにしている」
（例文）
私は5時に起きることにしている。
I make it a rule to get up at five.

★on time「時間通りに」
（例文）
この国では電車は時間通りに到着する。
The trains arrive on time in this country.

★comply with A「Aに従う」
（例文）
私たちはその規則に従わなければならない。
We should comply with the rule.
